Harold
R. "Huddy" Hudgens, Jr., ALC #985, CCIM #12933, is President/Broker/Owner of Albany
Land Co., Inc., a full service real estate company in Albany, Georgia. Hudgens, a land development consultant, specializes in the sale of
commercial properties, farms, timber tracts and recreational properties. Hudgens founded Albany Land Co., Inc. in 1979 and has over 30 years
experience in the real estate industry.
He
holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture from the
University of Georgia, where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha
Fraternity.
Hudgens
has served as President of the
Albany Board of REALTORS®, State Director
of the
Georgia Association of REALTORS®, Secretary, Vice President and Regional 5 Vice President of the
REALTORS® Land Institute, and the President of the Georgia Chapter of the
REALTORS® Land Institute. He was the
Albany Board of REALTORS®, REALTOR® of the
Year for 1987 and is an Active Life Member of that Board’s Million
Dollar Club. Recently, Hudgens was awarded Georgia Land Realtor of
the Year for 2002. Hudgens was presented with a MERITORIOUS SERVICE
AWARD in 2000 by the
Albany Board of REALTORS® for his work as Chairman
of their
House of Hope Committee, that developed and built a special
duplex for the physically challenged.
He
is former Chairman of the Albany-Dougherty Planning Commission serving
in that office for five years. He was a member of the
Leadership
Albany Class of 1991. He is a member of the Rotary Club of
Dougherty County, Georgia. Hudgens serves on the Executive Board
of the Boy Scouts of America, Chehaw Council.
